Overview : Sr. Creative Designer
We are looking for a Sr. Creative Designer with a passion for creating unique and emotive experiences.
The Senior Creative works closely with other creatives, copywriters and consultants to deliver amazing experiences for audiences and measurable results for our clients. Someone who will think differently but be able to tell the story as to why, stirring emotions, inspiring and thought-provoking along the way. We want someone who is confident in their beliefs but humble in the way they collaborate.
The role works into our Head of Creative to ensure that we are producing the very best level of creative design for our clients.
We work with many of the world’s leading brands, and from the start, this role will be working as part of an embedded team for our largest global client working across a wide range of internal communications and campaigns.

You personally ensure all deliverables meet your own high standards and the client expectations. You know what good looks like, you naturally seek out stunning design or a beautiful idea that’s above the ordinary and keep an eye on what is winning awards.
- Please note that this is a temporary/contract position and the hours will vary, depending on the business need.
How You’ll Make An Impact : Sr. Creative Designer
- To interpret the client’s objectives and needs and help develop a concept to suit their purpose.
- To provide expertise and a creative input from the inception stage of design work through to its final production
- Deliver highly innovative and thought-provoking creative experiences that span all platforms.
- To work as part of a team with copywriters, photographers, other designers, consultants, web developers to ensure projects run smoothly
- To ensure the quality of your work and that of the studio is in accordance with the company’s quality standards and satisfies the client’s brief
- To be a key point of contact with relevant account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements.
- To maintain a sound knowledge and understanding of the latest design trends, techniques and styles (both on and offline)
- Continually improve upon your knowledge of the core design programmes you use (in particular Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business.
Qualifications : Sr. Creative Designer
About You
- Degree or diploma in graphic design or a related subject advantageous but not essential. Portfolio is king!
Technical Knowledge
- An expert in Adobe CS, while also versed in design for web (Figma, Sketch & InVision)
- Motion graphics skills would be a positive
Experience : Sr. Creative Designer
- A Designer with experience working in a design agency
- Highly creative and motivated
- Proactive with a mindset for innovation and new ways of working
- Able to respond to a communications challenge with a wealth of strong, engaging and relevant ideas
- A highly skilled typographer, with a great portfolio that showcases this
Skills/other
- Cutting edge knowledge of print and production techniques.
- Relentless passion for design, brands, trends, creative movements and consumer behaviours.
- UX/UI experience highly desirable
- An enthusiastic ‘can-do’ attitude is essential
- Very much a team player – the creative team actively support each other
- Pragmatic and able to develop and existing idea, or equally devise and manage a project from end to end
- Confident communicator
