Job Description

Our Animation Team is seeking a Senior Animator to execute high-level animation as assigned by clients and the production team. Teamwork and collaboration are essential, as members from all departments, including Creative Directors and Production, work closely together. Artists require a high degree of technical skill and artistic judgment, as well as professionalism and diplomacy when interacting with clients.

Responsibilities: Senior Animator

Work with Production Staff to provide animated sequences as required by the client.
Animate in various styles (creatures, realistic humans, motion capture, vehicles, complex characters, objects, cameras, etc.) based on project needs.
Perform Mocap cleanup and 3D rotomation for FX.
Utilize animation software (Maya) for visual effects-intensive projects.
Handle miscellaneous duties as required by the Animation Supervisor or Animation Lead.
Collaborate closely with other departments on issues affecting the animation team.

Requirements: Senior Animator

Understanding of animation rigging/set-up and 3D character animation.
Strong grasp of scene layout to match plates.
Excellent artistic skills with a comprehensive understanding of animation and composition.
Knowledge of software and hardware used in the post-production process.
Understanding of Visual Effects and associated pipelines.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Proactive with the ability to lead a creative vision.
Ability to work overtime/weekends as project demands require.
Efficiency in meeting tight deadlines.
