Our strong volunteer base and the generosity of individuals and corporations drive our mission. We are currently hiring for a Motion Graphic Designer/Animator. This role will involve designing and creating visually stunning motion graphics and animations to support our educational initiatives.

Responsibilities: Motion Graphic Designer/Animator

  • Design and create visually stunning motion graphics and animations.
  • Develop and refine visual style and taste, articulating design decisions clearly.
  • Utilize software and equipment proficiently, including Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Provide and receive constructive feedback to enhance designs.
  • Storyboard and direct informational graphics with mastery.
  • Produce high-quality 2D animations with a keen sense of motion design, cinematography, and graphic design using typography, iconography, and layout design.
  • Manage projects methodically while being a self-starter.
  • Stay current with motion design trends and styles, and contribute to innovative visual solutions.
  • Demonstrate a passion for educational games and creating beautiful visual experiences for kids.
  • Exhibit entrepreneurial spirit and eagerness to learn new skills within a small team.

Requirements: Motion Graphic Designer/Animator

  • Proven experience as a Motion Graphic Designer/Animator with a strong portfolio showcasing impressive works.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Fluent in storyboarding and directing informational graphics.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for education.
  • Receptive to feedback and experienced with iterative/experimental design methodologies.
