We seek a creative and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with our marketing and communications team to create visually compelling designs that communicate our mission, programs, and initiatives to various stakeholders.
- Create visually appealing designs for a variety of print and digital materials including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, infographics, newsletters, presentations, and website assets.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all materials.
- Work closely with the creative team to understand project requirements, goals, and target audience, and collaborate on creative concepts and design solutions.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
- Receive and incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders to refine designs and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Help maintain and organize digital assets and design files.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Perform basic photo editing and manipulation tasks.
- Work within project management software to review tasks and briefs for projects.
Qualifications : Junior Graphic Designer
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
- Up to 2 years of professional design experience or relevant internships (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Non-profit and/or fundraising event/campaign experience a plus
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of project management systems.
- A strong current portfolio showcasing a variety of design skills and creative thinking.
- Basic understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding.
- Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and grow as a designer.
Target salary range: $50,000 – $65,000 based on experience
