Graphics Production Assistant- CBS Sports (Freelance)
Job Description
The Graphics Production Assistant will enhance the overall production quality of CBS Sports Digital and Broadcast properties by working to provide graphics support to keep up with the fast-paced sports news environment. This role is 100% on-site at our Fort Lauderdale office.
Responsibilities: Graphics Production Assistant
– Create custom imagery for use on our studio set based on the latest sports headlines
– Use Adobe Creative Suite to cut images and/or clips for implementation into graphics database. This includes team and sponsor logos, player headshots and action shots
– Operate Ross XPression machine during show (graphics department will train if unfamiliar)
– Work in browser-based rundown system Inception (graphics department will train if unfamiliar)
Basic Qualifications: Graphics Production Assistant
– Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and 1 year of professional experience
– Must be strong with Adobe Photoshop (online portfolio required on resume)
– Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (notably Premiere, AfterEffects and Illustrator)
– Knowledgeable in and actively follows sports
– Experience in a control room/studio/newsroom environment
– Must be open to working nights and weekends
