About the job : Graphic Production Artist
Our well known technology client is looking for a Graphic Production Artist – Guide to join their team.
This is a 12 month long, full time (40 hr/week), hybrid (Tues-Thus onsite, M/F WFH) contract opportunity in Cupertino, CA, with potential to extend.
Position Overview: Graphic Production Artist
The Graphic Production Artist will partner with instructional designers as well as art directors to create visual components for content that convey and enhance the training message, while maintaining this company’s client’s distinct style standards.
Responsibilities: Graphic Production Artist
- Directly support Creative Design staff (Design Pod teams and Functional Design team)
- Use design implementation experience to anticipate and problem-solve executional issues such as image cropping, scaling, layout ratio reformatting
- Use production experience to anticipate and problem-solve executional issues such as resolution, function, color, reproduction and finishing
- Strategize the implementation of a project’s core set of creative across the full suite of print and some online deliverables
- Create design adaptations at different aspect ratios and scales
- Build and maintain design roadmaps, master layouts and other internal visual documents
- Create master pre-production layouts for hand-off to Production Studio with notes on allowable design and content variations
- Lead production hand-off meetings to Mechanical Production Studio Build mechanicals if needed
- Build Production Design Guideline documents that convey design direction and production specifications to internal (GEO partners) and/or external users (Agencies and Partners)
- Present Production Design Guideline documents to GEO Localization Teams Participate in GEO creative workshop office hours providing design and production direction for challenging project implementation needs

Hardware Packaging, Accessory Packaging, Retail Store Graphic Panels, Channel Product Fixtures, In-store Posters and Signage, Exterior Window Posters and Banners, APR Demand Generation
Skills: Graphic Production Artist
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, & Sketch
- Keynote is a plus
- Keen ability to extract important details from cross functional teams (Able to ask probing questions)
- Creative autonomy
- Learn/adapt quickly
- Sleek, minimal aesthetic in design
- Versatility in portfolio
- More Graphic Design experience than UX / UI
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $70.00-$73.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
