Job Description

Safal Partners is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented graphic designer with significant client collateral and business proposal development design experience to elevate Safal’s visual communications. This person will work collaboratively with several project teams as well as the business development team on proposal submissions. The ideal candidate for this position is creative, collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable with multi-tasking and working on tight deadlines. Candidates will be required to provide a portfolio of work.

Duties and Responsibilities: Graphic Designer

  • Translating complex concepts, processes into high-end, compelling graphics for PowerPoint decks, Word templates, fact sheets, toolkits, publications, etc.
  • Designing branding packages for client packages and related templates for deliverables
  • Supporting Safal client project teams to create individual project deliverables
  • Supporting Safal business development unit to create customized graphics for federal and state business proposals 
  • Working as part of Safal corporate communications team to develop marketing and business development materials, digital assets for corporate website and social media accounts
  • Editing and polishing graphics submitted by project partners to ensure consistency
  • Ensuring graphics meet corporate identity standards, project publication guidelines, and proposal requirements
  • Evaluating, revising and remediating electronic documents (e.g., PPTs, PDFs, etc.) to comply with Section 508 requirement for federal contract project work
  • Maintaining Safal’s visual branding across materials, internal image library and graphics catalog

Required Qualifications: Graphic Designer

  • 4+ years of corporate in-house or design agency graphic design experience
  • 4+ years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, etc.
  • Experience in digital publication design, marketing collateral design and production
  • Experience creating products that meet federal Section 508 accessibility compliance requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Ats or related creative field

Preferred Experience: Graphic Designer

  • Experience working with proposal teams on Federal and/or State government proposals
  • Experience working for a management consulting firm
  • Experience in video editing and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects)

Skills: Graphic Designer

  • High level of organization and experience multi-tasking in fast-paced and customer-service focused environment
  • Proven ability to pivot between working independently and collaboratively to complete projects on time and according to client or proposal requirements
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Experience working with technical data and strong analytical capabilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends to meet proposal deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a diverse team in fully virtual environment using Microsoft Teams
  • Familiarity with SharePoint for document management preferred

Location: This is a fully remote position requiring availability during East Coast business hours. Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and able to secure a public trust clearance if required for federal contract work
