We seek a dedicated Graphic Designer with print design experience to join our small, friendly production team. The ideal candidate is passionate about print books, a big sports fan, upbeat, and collaborative. This position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities : Graphic Designer
- Design book layout templates
- Layout books using templates
- Create newspaper print and digital ads
- Create social media ads, both static images and video
- Design book covers
- Clean and tone photos
- Make requested corrections
- Work with various web services (Canva, Basecamp, Shopify, etc.)
- Assist with editorial tasks as needed
- Select photos from both online sources and provided catalogs
- Conduct pre-press activities including pre-flighting files and generating press-ready PDFs
Requirements : Graphic Designer
Requirements
- Proficiency in InDesign and Photoshop; familiarity with Illustrator
- Strong typographic and design skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to continuous learning
- Passion for print books and sports
- Must be based in the United States
Preferred Skills : Graphic Designer
- Experience with Basecamp, Canva, CapCut, Klaviyo, and Shopify
- Familiarity with PDF prepress workflows
- In-depth knowledge of major sports (baseball, basketball, football, hockey)
