Job Description
The Position:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating all communication items to increase awareness of ADEC in the community through print, video, and digital media accompanied with written text, and painting a story about ADEC while using design software to complete project throughout ADEC Inc.
Job Responsibilities: Graphic Designer
- Create all communication items that effectively promote ADEC through the use print, video, and digital media
- Communicate with ADEC departments to understand their needs and assist in their communication efforts within the community
- Assist in publishing content, maintaining continuity of themes, and designing layout on ADEC’s website
- Review design items, on a routine basis, to ensure that ADEC’s brand and messaging is accurate and up to date
- Maintain and manages documents to insure consistent and accurate branding
- Maintain Photo Releases for clients and follow HIPPA guidelines
- Assist with ADEC sponsored events and public relations as needed
- Create agency’s newsletter for staff and community
- Serves as ADEC photographer and videographer
- Work as a brand ambassador within ADEC and the community
- Record, edit and publish ADEC’s monthly podcast
Job Requirements: Graphic Designer
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Two to three years’ experience with communication, design, or brand marketing
- Two to three years’ experience with (academic or professional) design software, including Illustrator, Adobe, Mailchimp, Canva, and WordPress
- Photography and Videography experience and proficiency in editing software
