About the job : Graphic Designer
Acumen is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our in-house design team to support our marketing, branding, and visual communication efforts. This role is based in our New York office which operates under a hybrid model, with three days in the office: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

About The Role : Graphic Designer
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support our marketing, branding, and visual communication efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a passion for creating visually compelling content, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, across a full spectrum of communication channels and formats. As part of our in-house design team, you will report to and partner with the Associate Creative Director while collaborating across the global Marketing and Communications team, and other internal stakeholders, to produce high-quality graphics that align with our brand standards and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities : Graphic Designer
- Develop and design a wide range of digital and print materials, including social media graphics, website graphics, decks, and email templates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually engaging content for campaigns and editorial content.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of brand assets, ensuring consistency across all visual materials.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for various projects.
- Prepare and present design concepts to team members and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion while adhering to deadlines.
- Stay updated with design trends and software updates to maintain a high standard of work.
Skills & Qualifications : Graphic Designer
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in-house or at an agency.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work and demonstrating creative thinking.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Basic knowledge of Figma, HTML/CSS, and animation software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

The salary range for this Senior Associate level role is $64,000 to $74,900 USD and is eligible for overtime plus a performance-based bonus. This range represents the present low and high end of pay range for this role. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience. Acumen has equal pay, so pay is determined through comparison to a cohort of employees in the market at the same level of accountability.
