Motion Bounty is looking for a highly creative Character Artist to bring a new line of collectible pins to life under the Crumb Combat brand. This project offers an exciting opportunity to design a range of fun, dynamic, and visually engaging characters that will be the face of the Crumb Combat series.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a diverse set of original characters, from concept to final design, specifically for collectible pin production.
• Create character designs that are appealing, stylized, and aligned with the Crumb Combat brand’s fun and whimsical tone.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure character designs meet production needs and translate well into physical pins.
• Produce clean and detailed final artwork, including turnarounds, color palettes, and reference sheets as needed.
• Iterate on feedback from the team to refine designs and meet project goals.

Requirements:

• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing character design work, particularly in fun, stylized, or collectible items. Experience in designing for pins or merchandise is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital illustration software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent). Experience with vector art is preferred for scalable designs.
• Creativity & Adaptability: Ability to design characters that can appeal to a wide audience, with the flexibility to adjust to varying design styles as needed for the brand.
• Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for character details, expressions, and poses that are both iconic and memorable.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, particularly in a remote work environment. Ability to take constructive feedback and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Time Management: Able to manage deadlines effectively, working independently to deliver high-quality results on time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in collectibles, merchandise, or toy design.
• Knowledge of the production process for enamel pins or similar products.
• Understanding of market trends in collectibles and pop culture-related character design.

Position Details:

• This is a remote freelance/contract position, offering flexibility in working hours.
• Pay is negotiable based on experience and portfolio quality.
