About the job : 3D Animator


Job Summary:

As a 3D Animator, you will be responsible for bringing characters, objects, and environments to life through the art of 3D animation. You will work closely with a team of artists, designers, and directors to create engaging and immersive animations for various projects, including films, video games, commercials, and more.

Responsibilities: 3D Animator

  • Create high-quality 3D animations, including character animations, object animations, and special effects animations.
  • Work closely with the art director and design team to ensure that animations meet the project’s aesthetic and technical requirements.
  • Use industry-standard software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender to create animations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as modeling, texturing, and lighting, to ensure a seamless integration of animations into the overall project.
  • Follow project timelines and deadlines, ensuring that animations are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Continuously improve your animation skills and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to the project.
  • Provide feedback and critiques to other animators to help improve the overall quality of the animations.

Qualifications: 3D Animator

  • Bachelor’s degree in animation, digital media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a 3D animator, preferably in the film, video game, or advertising industry.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D animation software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
  • Excellent understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and weight.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality animations.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to take direction and feedback.
  • Portfolio of previous 3D animation work demonstrating a wide range of skills and styles.
